While most features in LEADTOOLS are backwards-compatible and older how-tos still apply in newer versions, the features discussed in this post have changed significantly in Version 20. Please refer to the following forum post for an updated version of this tutorial:

Correct Photos of Documents - Ambient Lighting

In my previous post, "Solution to 4 Common First-world Problems – Convert and Merge to PDF," I implemented a solution to convert images of documents to text-searchable PDF files. The source images were produced from a document scanner and the camera on my phone. Since that post, I have received some questions on how to improve the human readability of the PDFs that were originally camera images.

New White Paper: Add HTML5 Document Viewer to ASP.NET MVC 5 Project

The latest update of LEADTOOLS V19 includes an MVC project using the LEADTOOLS DocumentViewer. Additionally, the services have been refactored so that the services configuration part of this paper is out of date and no longer applies. However, we have decided to continue to make this paper available because there is useful information on configuring CORS in IIS that applies to many different applications.
