Continuing off our last white paper about end-to-end eDiscovery with LEADTOOLS Document Imaging, this post will go over a .NET Core console application that performs OCR on each PDF from a given directory while searching for a given word in those PDFs. This application is optimized to handle both raster images and documents, so feel free to change the code around to search more than PDFs. If the word the user submits is found within a file in the directory, the file name containing the searched word will be logged out to the console.

Within the past half year, LEADTOOLS has had some major releases with the SDK and the Cloud Services. Today, we are going to talk about both the Xamarin Camera Control as well as the Merge Web API. We will be using the Xamarin Camera Control to take multiple pictures and then send those image to LEAD's cloud services. Once those have been uploaded, the Merge Web API will merge all those images into one single file.

Last month we introduced LEADTOOLS Cloud Services, a brand-new product offering from LEADTOOLS, the World Leader in Imaging SDKs. We highlighted its OCR, Barcode, and Document Conversion features, and how to use the services in a Node.js application. In this post, we’ll explore a more applied scenario.
