New H.265 Decoder for Media Foundation and Other Multimedia Updates

Our multimedia development team has been busy! Only a few weeks after our last update, LEADTOOLS has shipped another update for Multimedia with a focus on H.265, MPEG-2 Transport and DVR.

  • New H.265 Decoder for Media Foundation — LEADTOOLS now includes a Media Foundation version of its groundbreaking H.265/HEVC decoder which can decode Ultra-high-definition (UHD) 4K and 8K videos.
  • Manually set PID of each stream with MPEG-2 Transport Multiplexer — Different video specifications which use MPEG-2 Transport video may require specific values for each stream’s PID. LEADTOOLS can now manually set these PIDs to create compatible files.
  • DVR demo can save video without recompression — Some video capture devices capture and send compressed video streams. The DVR demo now shows customers how to take advantage of this feature to improve performance and maintain video quality.

All of these new features are freely available to those evaluating and who have already purchased LEADTOOLS Version 19. All you need to do is download the latest setup from our website!
