We've been hinting at it for a while and the rumors are true: LEADTOOLS Version 18 (A.K.A LEADTOOLS Anywhere) will be released in January of 2013! I'd like to spend the next couple of weeks talking about what you'll see on the shelves come January.

This week I'm starting simple, and highlighting the changes to the product line. Overall, Version 18 is a slimmer offering in terms of actual products, but there are more features and development interfaces than ever before (which I'll cover next week)!

LEAD Technologies is very pleased to introduce LEADTOOLS Version 22. Since 1990, LEADTOOLS has continuously raised the standard of innovative imaging and multimedia technologies. Version 22 continues that tradition with a HEIC / HEIF support and multimedia updates.

The LEADTOOLS video capture SDK contains advanced features that simplify the process of capturing video from devices and cameras. Our SDK provides developers with all the tools necessary to work with different video sources including network cameras, web cams, capture cards, TV tuners, DV cameras, and more. Once the video is captured, developers can easily convert and store the video using a variety of codecs like H.265, H.264, MJPEG, and MPEG-2. This is a perfect choice since the conversion of audio/video files is what originally sparked the creation of our Cloud SDK. LEADTOOLS Multimedia V18 gives distributed processing application developers the most flexibility, features and performance with the latest codecs, processing filters, and the option to use either DirectShow or Media Foundation. This combination sets up LEADTOOLS as the unrivaled choice for parallel processing of multimedia conversion tasks.

In case you're new to the LEADTOOLS Cloud SDK, its greatest asset is the freedom it gives developers. While we include demos for OCR and Multimedia since those are the most popular kinds of distributed applications among our customers, the Cloud SDK is actually a completely independent framework. You don't have to use LEADTOOLS Multimedia, OCR, Image Processing, or really any LEADTOOLS imaging feature. LEADTOOLS Cloud SDK simply makes it easy to divide any job amongst an unlimited number of networked computers and get your job done faster and less expensively.

App Description

This project from Amin will utilize two of the LEADTOOLS Callback filters to combine multiple videos into a single video output. It uses the RGB filters, the Video Resize Filter, and the Still Image Reader filter. The UI provides allows the user to add more than two videos as well as setting the order for combining them.
