What it Does

This C# console application will scan a page, extract text with OCR and save to PDF using LEADTOOLS Version 19.

Intelligent capture can refer to a couple different ways of capturing data from images or documents. In this post, I'll be talking about how you can intelligently capture barcodes from scanned in files. The LEADTOOLS TWAIN SDK and Barcode SDK are libraries that developers can easily use to create applications for scanning in physical documents while capturing and extracting any barcode data found.

LEAD Technologies has joined the TWAIN Working Group as an Associate Member. For many years, LEAD has included imaging toolkits that follow the TWAIN standards and this membership helps ensure an even higher level of support and a commitment to future development. More specifically, LEAD's membership in the TWAIN Working Group paves the way for early development access to the new TWAIN Direct standard, enabling imaging workflow applications for the desktop, mobile, or in the cloud.
