Additional Document Imaging Features

The LEADTOOLS Document Imaging and LEADTOOLS Document Imaging Suite provide support for some Image Display, Scanning / Screen Capture, and Image Processing features that are not supported in the LEADTOOLS Raster Imaging Pro product. This additional support includes:

·   12 and 16 bit grayscale image support.

·   8-16 bit grayscale lossy and lossless JPEG compression,

·   TWAIN scanning (16-bit grayscale and up to 48-bit color)

· Fast Twain scanning capabilities

·   ISIS scanning

·   Bitonal image processing, including deskew and despeckle.

·   Scale to Gray 1-bit image display

·   Favor black display which preserves black objects when displaying zoomed-out 1-bit images.

·   Fast Rotate which rotates a bitmap in 90-degree increments.

·   Super compressed 1-bit or 24-bit bitmaps which can be kept compressed in memory.

·   (Document Imaging Suite only) OCR capabilities, based on the ScanSoft SDK 12 Pro engine.

·   JBIG file format / compression.
