Installation Directory

The installation procedure creates a directory tree for the LEADTOOLS files, and adds the demonstration programs and online help to your desktop. You specify the root directory during installation.

Please note that due to the large size of the PDF files that contain the LEADTOOLS manuals, these files are no longer included in the setup. Instead, these PDF files can be downloaded from our website at http://support.leadtools.com/SupportPortal/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabindex=3&tabid=27.

The following is a list of the subdirectories in the root directory:

Bin

Executable files for the demonstration programs.

Examples\DotNet3

One subdirectory for each example DotNet3 program.

Examples\OCX

One subdirectory for each example ActiveX program.

Examples\WIC

One subdirectory for each example WIC program.

Examples\Resources

Resource files for the example programs.

Examples\Snippets

Visual Studio 2005 Code Snippets.

Help

Images

Include

Redist

Redistributable files. These are copies of the LEADTOOLS files and other files that you may need to distribute with your application. For exact information about required files, refer to Files To Be Included With Your Application.
