JPEG, J2K and LEAD File Comments

You can save comments in JPEG files, J2K files and in progressive LEAD CMP files (but not in non-progressive CMP files). When reading or updating these comments, you can specify only one type of comment.

Please note that LEADTOOLS also supports IPTC Comments, which can be saved inside JPEG files. For more information, refer to IPTC Comments.

Value Meaning

CMNT_SZDESC [3] Description of the image. This a variable-length character string. The maximum length is 64K.

J2K Comments

CMNT_J2K_BINARY [179] JPEG 2000 Binary comment

CMNT_J2K_LATIN [180] JPEG 2000 Latin comment
