Remarks

(Document/Medical only) Assigns a numeric tag to identify an annotation object. You can use the AnnGetTag method to get the tag.

You can use these two methods to keep track of particular objects such as buttons or hot spots over time.

When you load a file, an AnnCreate event is generated for each annotation object. You can add code in this event to see which tags are already used in a file.
