System Files Updated

The LEADTOOLS installation procedure adds the DLL files and all of the required driver files to your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. For a list of these files, refer to Files To Be Included With Your Application.

In addition, the installation procedure, as noted in the remainder of this topic, updates Windows system files that are required by the LEADTOOLS example programs.

The LEADTOOLS WIN32 installation procedure adds the following Windows files to your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. If your system has an earlier version of any of these files, the installation procedure overwrites it with the newer version.
