enabled
true to enable Asynchronous Operations; otherwise, false.
invokedCount
The number of operations (messages) that can be sent without a response.
performedCount
The number of Asynchronous Operations performed.
enabled
true to enable Asynchronous Operations; otherwise, false.
invokedCount
The number of operations (messages) that can be sent without a response.
performedCount
The number of Asynchronous Operations performed.
Enables or disables Asynchronous Operation support. It also sets the number of operations that can be invoked, if enabled.

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Sub SetAsynchronousOperations( _
   ByVal enabled As Boolean, _
   ByVal invokedCount As Integer, _
   ByVal performedCount As Integer _
)
Visual Basic (Usage)Copy Code
Dim instance As DicomAssociate
Dim enabled As Boolean
Dim invokedCount As Integer
Dim performedCount As Integer

instance.SetAsynchronousOperations(enabled, invokedCount, performedCount)
C#
public void SetAsynchronousOperations(
   bool enabled,
   int invokedCount,
   int performedCount
)
C++/CLI
public:
void SetAsynchronousOperations(
   bool enabled,
   int invokedCount,
   int performedCount
)

Parameters

enabled
true to enable Asynchronous Operations; otherwise, false.
invokedCount
The number of operations (messages) that can be sent without a response.
performedCount
The number of Asynchronous Operations performed.

Example

For an example, refer to DicomAssociate.IsRoleSelect.

Remarks

If a DICOM Associate connection does not support Asynchronous Operations, then an Application Entity must wait for the response from one message before sending another. If Asynchronous Operations are supported, multiple messages may be sent without waiting for a response. The number of messages that may be sent is set using SetAsynchronousOperations.

InvokedOperationsCount specifies the number of Asynchronous Operations that may be invoked without a response. PerformedOperationsCount specifies the number of operations that have been completed.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Silverlight 3.0, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 family, Windows Server 2008 family, Windows Vista, Windows 7, MAC OS/X (Intel Only)
