Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Class AntiAliasingCommand
   Inherits Leadtools.ImageProcessing.RasterCommand
   Implements IRasterCommand
Visual Basic (Usage)Copy Code
Dim instance As AntiAliasingCommand
C#

Example

Run the AntiAliasingCommand on an image and does anti-aliasing on it.

Visual BasicCopy Code
Public Sub AntiAliasingCommandExample()
   Dim codecs As New RasterCodecs()
   codecs.ThrowExceptionsOnInvalidImages = True

   Dim leadImage As RasterImage = codecs.Load(Path.Combine(LEAD_VARS.ImagesDir, "Master.jpg"))

   ' Prepare the command
   Dim command As AntiAliasingCommand = New AntiAliasingCommand
   'do the anti-aliasing on the image.
   command.Threshold = 25
   command.Dimension = 7
   command.Filter = AntiAliasingCommandType.Type1
   command.Run(leadImage)
   codecs.Save(leadImage, Path.Combine(LEAD_VARS.ImagesDir, "Result.jpg"), RasterImageFormat.Jpeg, 24)

End Sub

Remarks

  • The best results for anti-aliasing text can be obtained with the filter AntiAliasingCommandType.Type2.
  • The value of the Dimension property determines the extent of the anti-aliasing.
  • The threshold range for 16, 48 and 64-bit images is from 0 to 65535 and for 12-bit images the threshold range is from 0 to 4095. Otherwise, it is from 0 to 255. The threshold is applied on channels separately.
  • This command supports 12 and 16-bit grayscale and 48 and 64-bit color images. And can process the whole image or a region of the image. Support for 12 and 16-bit grayscale and 48 and 64-bit color images is available only in the Document/Medical toolkits.
  • This command does not support 32-bit grayscale images.
