When you want to re-enable the raising of the BeforeDrawingObjects and AfterDrawingObjects events, you must call the EnableDrawObjectEvents method.
Disabling these events is useful when you do not want the automation framework to draw the handles on the objects currently being edited (selected), as for example when realizing or printing the container.
