value: A DicomDateValue object that contains the Date value to set.

Sets the Date value of a Data Element. Supported in Silverlight, Windows Phone 7.

Parameters

element: An item in the Data Set.
value: A DicomDateValue object that contains the Date value to set.

Return Value

true if the Date value was set successfully; otherwise, it is false if the Date value of the Data Element could not be set.

Remarks

This method can be called only if the Value Representation of the Data Element is DicomVRType.DA. For more information about Value Representations, refer to Default Value Representation Table.

To set more than one date value, use the Leadtools.Dicom.DicomDataSet.SetDateValue overload.
