StretchIntensity method (Main Control)
Visual
Basic example
Visual C++ 4.0 example
Visual J++ example
Syntax short StretchIntensity ();
Overview: Refer to Changing Brightness and Contrast.
Remarks
Increases the contrast in an bitmap by centering, maximizing, and proportioning the range of intensity values.
Unlike the Contrast method, this method always retains the original number of different intensity values. (Ordinary contrast adjustments can lose values at the high and low ends of the scale.)
This method supports 12 and 16-bit grayscale and 48 and 64-bit color images. Support for 12 and 16-bit grayscale images and 48 and 64-bit color images is available only in the Document/Medical toolkits.
