EditEnabled Property






Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the resulting PDF document can be edited.

Property Value

true to allow external viewers and editors to edit the resulting PDF document; otherwise, it is false. The default value is true.
Remarks

The value of EditEnabled is used only when encrypting a PDF file with an owner password set in OwnerPassword.

If the value of EditEnabled is set to true, then AssemblyEnabled is considered to be true regardless of the value set in the property.

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
