Comments

This function is used to get the default socket options that will be used when calling the L_DicomConnect function on an hNet network handle. The default socket options are the options used if you call the L_DicomConnect function without first calling the L_DicomSetSocketOptions function.

This method always returns the same values. This function is different from the L_DicomGetSocketOptions function, which returns the socket options used when the L_DicomSetSocketOptions function was last called.

Internally, the socket is created when calling the L_DicomConnect function.

For more information about sockets, see the MSDN Winsock documentation.
