SelectLayer Method

New layer to act as the selected layer or null to set the selected layer as the default in the container.
Selects a layer in this AnnAutomation.

Parameters

activeLayer
New layer to act as the selected layer or null to set the selected layer as the default in the container.

Return Value

The old selected layer.
Remarks

Use this method to denote a layer as the selected layer in the container. All objects added using automation from this point will be added to this layer in the container.

You have to make sure the layer stays alive for the duration it is selected in the automation.

To set the active layer back to the default of the container (its root), call SelectLayer with activeLayer set to null.
