C Syntax

HRESULT IltmfPlay_put_AutoStart(pPlay, newVal)

C++ Syntax

HRESULT put_AutoStart(newVal)

 

IltmfPlay *pPlay;

/* pointer to an interface */

VARIANT_BOOL *pVal;

/* pointer to a variable */

Specifies whether to automatically start playing the media when the source has been assigned.

Parameter

Description

pPlay

Pointer to an IltmfPlay interface.

newVal

Flag that determines whether to automatically start playing the media when the source has been assigned. Possible values are:

 

Value

Meaning

 

VARIANT_TRUE

Enable the automatic playing the media.

 

VARIANT_FALSE

Disable the automatic playing the media.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the MediaFoundation documentation.

Comments

The default value is VARIANT_TRUE.
