This function sets the device manufacturer field of the ICC profile. If this field is used, it must match the signature contained in the appropriate section of the ICC signature registry found at (www.color.org). But if it is not used, then this field shall be set to zero.
The registration authority for these data is the ICC Technical Secretary. For contact information, refer to the ICC web site (www.color.org).
The device manufacturer is one of the values contained within the "header" information in the class object's ICCPROFILEEXT member structure. Calling LICCProfile::InitHeader will reset the device manufacturer and the other header information to the default values.
