invalidate Method

Manually invalidates this designer.

TypeScript Syntax

invalidate(rc: LeadRectD): void;

Parameters

The region to invalidate. If the value of this parameter is LeadRectD.Empty, then the entire surface is invalidated.

Remarks

If the various derived designers determine that the surface of the container needs repainting they will call the Invalidate method to do that. In turn, the Invalidate method determines if there is a valid object in the AutomationControl and calls its AutomationInvalidate method.
