Leadtools.Caching Assembly > Leadtools.Caching Namespace > ObjectCache Class : OnCacheItemExpired Method |
protected virtual void OnCacheItemExpired( CacheItemExpiredEventArgs e )
'Declaration
Protected Overridable Sub OnCacheItemExpired( _ ByVal e As CacheItemExpiredEventArgs _ )
'Usage
Dim instance As ObjectCache Dim e As CacheItemExpiredEventArgs instance.OnCacheItemExpired(e)
protected: virtual void OnCacheItemExpired( CacheItemExpiredEventArgs^ e )
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate.
The OnCacheItemExpired method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnCacheItemExpired in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnCacheItemExpired method so that registered delegates receive the event.
