Parameters

request
A System.Runtime.Serialization.DataContractAttribute containing the data that will be used in this AutoCrop operation.

Return Value

A System.Runtime.Serialization.DataContractAttribute containing the modified image resulting from the AutoCrop operation.

Remarks
  • Generally, this operation is used for automatically trimming blank space from the edges of scanned documents.
  • Nevertheless, because this operation uses changes in intensity to detect blank space, it can trim edges of any color or intensity.
  • If a region is defined for the image, the region is also trimmed if necessary.
  • This operation supports 12 and 16-bit grayscale and 48 and 64-bit color images. Support for 12 and 16-bit grayscale and 48 and 64-bit color images is available only in the Document/Medical toolkits.
  • This operation does not support signed data images.
  • This operation does not support 32-bit grayscale images.
