MediaFoundation Compression

The LEADTOOLS Media Foundation toolkit supports various audio and video compression techniques.

Media Foundation compression functionality includes the ability to:

• Get the selected target format using:

  • ConvertCtrl.TargetFormats
  • CaptureCtrl.TargetFormats

  Set the video formats using the TargetFormat.VideoFormats and set the audio formats using the TargetFormat.AudioFormats. so that the video stream will be compressed according to the selected target video formats, and the audio stream will be compressed according to the selected target audio format.

• Select the desired video capture format, by using the CaptureCtrl.VideoCaptureFormats collection.
