The LEADTOOLS SANE SDK provides a powerful set of functions, including in-depth support for image acquisition from a wide variety of hardware devices. The LEADTOOLS SANE SDK consists of a Linux API (LtSane), a Java library (Leadtools.Sane), and a server library (Leadtools.Sane.Server). This toolkit is included with LEADTOOLS Document and Medical Imaging products.
Scanner Access Now Easy (SANE) is an API for handling image acquisition from scanning devices. The SANE API is designed so that only one driver needs to be written for each scanning device. Batch operations are easy to set up: options are selected once and used on each item in a set.
With the LEADTOOLS SANE SDK, you can:
Control any scanner, digital camera or capture card that has a SANE device driver.
Do anything that your SANE driver supports.
Give your applications access to the wide variety of devices which can acquire images via SANE.
The LEADTOOLS SANE SDK can be used to:
Manage and handle multiple SANE sources like scanners, barcode readers, and digital cameras
Acquire pages from the specified source.
Control the resolution (dpi), position, size, and orientation of the image to be acquired.
Flexibly get and set all SANE options that the device's SANE driver supports.
