opacity Property

Summary

Gets or sets a value indicating the opacity value to use when rendering this object.

Property Value

A value indicating the opacity value to use when rendering this object. A value of 1 means opaque and a value of 0 means transparent. Legal values are between 0 and 1. The default value is 1.

Remarks

This value is used by renderers to set the global opacity used to render all of the components of this object. For example, if the brush used to fill this object contains a color with opacity, then this value will be multiplied by the value of Opacity.
