Leadtools 16.5 in 64bit Virtual machine

hello,
Now we setup leadtools v16.5 in 64bit Virtual machine. When we are running the program,it throws BadImageFormatException.But in 32bit computer there is no problem.Why? Leadtools v16.5 does not support 64bit Virtual machine?

LEADTOOLS v16.5 should work correctly on 64-bit operating systems.
If you are using LEADTOOLS .Net Win32 DLLs on a 64-bit environment, you should NOT build your application to Any CPU. You must specifically build for 32-bit (x86 CPU). The resulting 32-bit EXE can be deployed on both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems.
