LEADTOOLS allows you to create Dicom dataset from video file using our "DICOM Writer Filter" filter. For more information see the following help topic:
http://www.leadtools.com/help/leadtools/v175/multimedia/filters/productinfo/introduction_to_the_lead_dicom_writer.htm
Also, there is a project in our forums that shows how to programmatically use the Dicom Writer filter. You can obtain the project using the following link:
http://support.leadtools.com/CS/forums/30112/ShowPost.aspx
Also, you can try our Convert Demo that allows you to create Dicom Dataset from Video, to do that follow these steps:
1. Open our C# convert demo, you can find it under the following path:
[LEADTOOLS Multimedia 17.5]\Shortcuts\Multimedia\Conversion and Compression\Dotnet Class Library
2. Select the video source.
3. Choose "Dicom" from the "Target Format" dropdown list.
4. Set the target File and make sure the extension of the target file will be ".dcm"
5. Click on Convert button and see the result Dicom file.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I already know that we can convert the avi file to DICOM using C# Audio/Video Convert Demo but i want to convert only a single frame from the avi file to DICOM (i.e. the frame where I will pause the avi file) and not the complete avi to DICOM.
Steps:
1. Open the avi file (as in C# Audio Callback Demo).
2. Play it.
3. Pause it at some selected frame.
4. Convert only that paused or selected frame to DICOM.
5. Save the DICOM file.
Please help me in this regards...
Thanks....

You can use our Player demo to play the video and pause at the required location. You can then call PlayCtrl. GetStillImage() to obtain the image and convert it to LEAD bitmap using the RasterImageConverter.ConvertFromImage (). After that, use our DicomDataset class to define all the tags in the dataset and insert the image into the PixelData element of that data set.
