Our image viewer application is written in VB6 and uses the LEAD ocx to display images (TIF, JPG, or PDF). On some machines the scroll bars do not work. They can be dragged down but then simply snap back up to the top without effecting the image. AutoPan does not work as well; clicking in the image and moving the mouse has no effect. On my development machine, both running the application in design mode and running a compiled exe work correctly. The same compiled exe on other machines does not work, however. The versions of the controls on my development machine and our test machine are identical.
I've seen a couple other messages in this forum which describe the same problem. Has an explanation and/or solution been determined yet?
Thanks.

Dan,
Did you check all LEADTOOLS 12.1 file versions? The OCX uses other DLL
files, such as LTKRN12n.DLL and LTDIS12n.DLL. Are they all identical to
the files you have on the development machine?

Thanks for the response. We got around the problem by
implementing scrolling based on a FAQ article for earlier versions of
LEAD (131LHQ: HOWTO: Drag the Image in the LEAD Control with the Mouse).
It's possible that some other application has overwritten a DLL here or
there. It's the kind of thing that is all too common and produces
so many headaches.
Thanks again,
Dan.
