The attached projects demonstrates how to modify our PDF REST service to include implementation of our Leadtools.PDF.PDFFile.MergeWith method.
The zip file includes an example client page that calls the service using AJAX and returns a link to the merged PDF.
SETUP STEPS -
1. Make sure you've ran our REST Config Utility to setup the Virtual Directory to host the services in IIS:
C:\LEADTOOLS 18\Shortcuts\HTML5\01 Document\01 Local Demos\08 Run This First To Configure Demos and Services
2. Extract the Zip file "Modified_REST_Services.zip" and copy the contents to
C:\LEADTOOLS 18\Examples\REST\Leadtools.RESTServices
3. Open the Visual Studio Project and rebuild. It will build Leadtools.RESTServices.dll in the directory C:\LEADTOOLS 18\Bin\Dotnet4\Win32.
4. Copy Leadtools.RESTServices.dll to C:\LEADTOOLS 18\Examples\REST\RESTServicesHost\Bin. You may also want to copy the PDB file if you intend to debug the service.
Currently, the merged PDF is saved in the hosted REST service directory and linked to from that location.
