Is it possible to set the background color of the edit box a AnnAutomationManager.TextObjectId.  In the attached photo the edit box background is white.  Some of my customers are asking if the background can be transparent so that it does not obscure the photo.

Leadtools version info:
Leadtools.dll 17.0.0.73
Leadtools.Annotations.dll 17.0.0.61

I am afraid that there is no direct way to change the background color of the text annotations object to transparent while editing (in editing mode).
You might be able to do this using the current version of LEADTOOLS SDK (v19), because we give the user the ability to show his own edit control while editing our Annotation text object.
For details, see the following online help topic:
https://www.leadtools.com/help/leadtools/v19/dh/aa/leadtools.annotations.automation~leadtools.annotations.automation.annautomation~edittext_ev.html

If you would like, you can download and try the free evaluation version of LEADTOOLS v19 from our website.
After installing it, please check our C# annotations demo in the following folder:
[LEADTOOLS 19]\Examples\DotNet\CS\AnnotationsDemo
