How To: SelectRegionTool to Select the Region of the Screen to Capture Using LEAD Screen Capture Fil

I am using Visual Studio 2013, .NET 4.0, C#, LEADTOOLS 19. The attached project assumes that you already have our SDK installed.

The attached project demonstrates how to programmatically alter the properties of the LEAD Screen Capture Filter (2.0) and how to use the SelectRegionTool to allow the user to dynamically select the region of the screen to capture. The output AVI file that is captured will be saved to the \LEADTOOLS 19\Media\capture.avi.

These features require you to implement the ILMScrCapUserCallback callback in your project. The attached project also demonstrates how to do this.

Steps to test the functionality:

1. Run the application
2. Once the application starts, you will see cross hairs on your screen that will allow you to drag to select a region of the screen.
3. Once the region is selected and the mouse button is released, the form will load with the LEADTOOLS capture control capturing the selected region of the screen.
4. Once the project is closed, the captured AVI file will be saved to disk.
