I need a way to control the sharpness of the image as well as the zoom using .NET C#

It is very possible or you to accomplish the need to control sharpness as well as being able to control the zoom. Regarding the first portion of your question, here is a link that will provide you with sample code that you can try out to control the sharpness of your image.

Now for the second part of the question, you can simply add two buttons allowing you zoom in and out. Here is the link for using LEADTOOLS zoom methods
