I have a USB camera, which provides DirectShow compatible WDM driver. Can I use the frame rate control filter for this device? Is the frame rate control filter a DirectShow transform filter?

Any help is very much appreciated.

Yes, like most of our multimedia processors, it is a DirectShow
transform filter and you should be able to use it within any DirectShow
filter graph.
