How do I set an evaluation or purchased license?

In order to use the LEADTOOLS SDK you will need to obtain and set a license. An evaluation license is sent to your via email once you download the SDK and provide a valid email address. The email contains a ZIP file that contains the following:

• eval-license-files.lic: The path (or contents) of this file will be the license file for our desktop/mobile platforms
  
• eval-license-files.lic.key: The contents of this file will be the developer key for our desktop/mobile platforms
  
• Leadtools.lic.key.txt: The contents of this file will be the developer key for our HTML5 SDK
  
• Leadtools.lic.txt: The path (or contents) of this file will be the license file for our HTML5 SDK
  
• setup.txt: This can be ignored, and is used for our main Windows installer for validating the evaluation license

You will need to set the license in your code before calling any LEADTOOLS functions in order to properly function.

If you have purchased, then you would have received an email from your Sales agent with the purchased license.
