How to apply audio/video effects using the Multimedia SDK?

All three of the main controls (Play, Capture and Convert) have the ability to use audio and video processing filters. There are two sets of lists to focus on here:

• AudioProcessors/VideoProcessors – This is a list of all of the available LEAD audio/video processors on the machine.
• SelAudioProcessors/SelVideoProcessors – This is a user-managed list of the audio/video processors used by the current control.

The process of using an audio or video processor is the same. For readability, I will only describe the process for video processors.

First, you will need to check the video processors list for the video effect you wish to use. This check is to get the index of the filter, as this index can vary from machine-to-machine (e.g. development to deployment machines). For applications in C/C++, there are two ways to find a processor index:

• IltmmProcessors::Find() method will search the list and return the index value directly.
• Cycle through each IltmmProcessor in IltmmProcessors and check the get_FriendlyName method to see if the current processor is the one you want.

With .NET, there isn’t any need to search for the LEAD processors, as this is handled the the .NET assembly.

Once you have the index, you then need to add the processor to the SelVideoProcessors list with https://www.leadtools.co...iltmmprocessors-add.html or https://www.leadtools.co...a/mm/processors-add.html
