If you are creating an application to convert non-searchable PDF files into searchable PDF files using an OCR, you may want to ensure you do not process files that are already searchable.
You may also want to handle cases where the file is corrupted, encrypted, or may not be a PDF file at all (may have the extension PDF, but the file is a TIFF for example).
The attached C# .NET sample shows you how you would check for each of these cases and outputs the results in a ListView for a directory of files.
This is an updated Visual Studio 2017 project using LEADTOOLS 19. The original project can be found here:
