HOW TO: Add NuGets & Set License with Xamarin

With the newest version of the LEADTOOLS SDK, Version 20, there will be NuGet packages that need to be installed into your solution. Once the NuGets have been installed, it will automatically add the DLLs to your references folder. This will allow you to begin coding right away without having to manually reference each DLL to your application. Below you find a step-by-step process on how to add the LEADTOOLS NuGets to your project.

1. Open Visual Studio and create a new "Cross Platform App (Xamarin)"
   
   
   
2. Select "Shared Project" and click "OK"
   
   
   
3. Now in your Solution Explorer, right click your solution and select "Manage NuGet Packages for Solution..."
   
   
   
4. Select "Browse" to search for the LEADTOOLS NuGet with the Package Source being "nuget.org"
   
   
   
5. Select the NuGet and select the project you want to add it to and click "Install"
   
   
6. Notice your references now has all the DLLs that were contained within that NuGet
   
   
   
7. Drop down MainPage.xaml and select MainPage.xaml.cs and add "using Leadtools;"
   
   
   
8. Add the RasterSupport.SetLicense(); call to unlock to the toolkit:
