Sometimes additional information needs to be sent in HL7 messages that isn’t defined in the HL7 standard. Certain message types, such as ORM_O01, have segments for passing extra data parameters that aren’t apart of the base HL7 standard. Attached is a VS2017 project written in C# that utilizes the Leadtools.HL7.Messaging NuGet package. Included in the demo are sample HL7 strings.
