After installing patch 14.1, I tried to save the OCR result under "*.xls" (Excel) and "*.xml" (Xml Document). However, it reports me an Error.
This is the Error Message:
Excel Format: "General Error in Engine"
XML Format: "Wrong parameter or parameter not found"
While running the RasterOcr.SaveResultsToFile( ), I use the default configuration. I only change the Format type to the corresponding save format.
Does saving under Excel and XML format require setting specific SaveResultOptions? If yes, what is the setting?
If no, does the OCR Engine has a bug in saving under these file format?
thank you

I get the same error, and am able to save in other formats, so I submitted it to development with this number:
4312AMN. Will post back when I get an update.

According to development the error may be caused by using the same RDF
file for more than one OCR session. I tried deleting the RDF file
after each recognition and do not get the error. Please try that,
and if you still get it then please try the latest patch which is build
14.5.0.4.

I tried your suggestion to install patch 14.5.0.4. However, the error exist when I tried to save under either *.xml or *.xls.
Also in my function, I always delete the RDF file before doing a new OCR Session.
So, I am still clueless for this issue.
Thanks

Can you try downloading and installing the latest setup? I do not
know if this will help but I cannot think of anything else at the
moment. If you do not have the download instructions then send
your serial number to "support@leadtools.com" and we will send them to
you.
