Hi,
We've created an application in .NET 2005 to view pdf-files. When we zoom out, the quality of the pdf is bad. How can we fix this?
Thankx.
Sofie

Hello Sofie,
Which programming interface (e.g. COM, .NET, etc.) are you using?
Also, which product (e.g. Raster, Document, etc.) do you have?
Thanks,

We are using C#.NET and RasterImageViewer.
This is the code we're using to open a pdf.
RasterPaintProperties
_paintProperties = pdfRasterImageViewer.PaintProperties;
_paintProperties.PaintDisplayMode = RasterPaintDisplayModeFlags.Bicubic;
_image = new PdfImage(_codecs.Load(imageName));
pdfRasterImageViewer.Image = _image;
This is the code we're using to zoom:
pdfRasterImageViewer.ScaleFactor /= zoomFactor;
Thanks,
Sofie

If you have Document or Medical Imaging, then try setting
PaintDisplayMode to ScaleToGray.

Unfortunately this was not the solution.
The pdf in true size looks great but when we zoom in or out not.

This is a DPI issue. I tried loading the file with 150 DPI and it
looks much better. To do that, set the
RasterCodecs.Options.PDF.Load.XResolution and YResolution properties to
150 or higher.
