hello,

what is the fastest way to read several lines from an image-file?

i.e. I want to read line 5 to 105 from xxx.jpg

This is possible.  Which programming interface (e.g. COM, OCX, .NET, etc.) are you using?

We use LEADTOOLS Raster Imaging Pro, Version 13

and the DLL-Interface.

Try calling L_LoadFileTile.  This function loads a portion of the image.
