I want to capture SINGLE IMAGE from WEBCAM and save it as image file
(preferably PPM file) using C or C++ code. Can anyone help me? Also I want to know about any special library needed.

If you mean by PPM the Portable Pixmap Utilities
format, then you can save such files using any of our LEADTOOLS imaging
toolkits.
About the capture part, you have 2 options: either
use our Multimedia toolkit if the camera has a capture video source (driver)
compatible with Windows DirectShow, or if it has a Twain driver, you also use
our imaging toolkit without the need for the multimedia toolkit.
For more information about our Multimedia Toolkit, please

for more information about our Twain support , please
