Trying to load BMP with Lead Tools OCX v11.0.0.1.

When doing properties on the BMP in Windows, I get the following:

Width:  2500 pixels

Height:  2000 pixels

Horizontal Resolution:  706 dpi

Vertical Resolution:  470 dpi

Bit Depth:  8

Frame Count:  1

Why would 11.0 not support this type of BMP?

I'm not sure what would specifically cause it not to work in 11.

First, I'd make sure that you have the latest DLLs for version 11.  Please send an email to support@leadtools.com in order to get the download instructions for the latest v11 patch.  For verification purposes, be sure to include the following information:

1. The company you work for
2. The LEADTOOLS serial number you own (if you are evaluating, just say so and we'll send you the eval patch)
3. The name(s) of the developer(s) using the serial number
4. A link to this forum post

If the patch doesn't end up working, please send or post the bmp file in question.

Tried the lastest patch.  Still doesn't work.  Been a while since I worked with v11, does this version require a key to open 8 Bit Grayscale Bitmaps?  That could be the problem, I believe that the image is 8 Bit Grayscale.

It is not necessary to use an unlock key for loading 8 bit grayscale BMP images. Please post the problem image and we can further investigate this issue here.

Is there an FTP site that I can put the image?

It is abount 1 MB when zipped, 5 MB unzipped.

It keeps timing out on the Zipped version when trying to attach it here...

Thanks..

I never received an email, but I was finally able to attach it without timing out!

I checked this issue on my end with the latest patch and was able to load your image without any errors. Please ensure that the V11 dll's were copied to your system32 and the version is 11.5.0.014. Also, ensure that LFBMP11n.dll is loated in your system32. If this dll is not found, an error will be thrown.
