How do I keep the annotation property from popping up when a custom annotation is drawn?
Dim tex As New AnnAutomationObject
tex.Id = (mnuitem.Index + 1) * 1000
tex.Name = "Custom"
Dim texp As New AnnTextObject
texp.Pen = New AnnPen(My.Settings.annpencolor, New AnnLength(1, AnnUnit.Display))
texp.Brush = New AnnSolidBrush(My.Settings.annbrushcolor)
texp.TextColor = My.Settings.anntextcolor
texp.Font = New AnnFont(My.Settings.myfontfamilyname.FontFamily, New AnnLength(My.Settings.myfontfamilyname.Size, AnnUnit.Point), My.Settings.myfontfamilyname.Style)
texp.Text = mtext
tex.Object = texp
tex.DrawDesignerType = GetType(AnnTextDrawDesigner)
tex.EditDesignerType = GetType(AnnRectangleEditDesigner)
tex.RunDesignerType = GetType(AnnRunDesigner)
tex.DrawCursor = Cursors.Cross
tex.ContextMenu = AnnAutomationManager.CreateDefaultObjectContextMenu(tex.Id)
tex.UseRotateControlPoints = True
theManager.Objects.Add(tex)
theManager.CurrentObjectId = tex.Id
I am using vb.net and leadtools 15.0.0.36

You can try to achieve this by setting the ShowTextObjectsPropertiesDialogAfterDraw property.
