Hi,
We would like to know if the scanner is connected OR not. If connected, we want to know whether it is ON or switched off. How can we do this?

Also how can we get device event to work? We have defined an event device function (event handler) but it is not detecting any events.

We are using version 15 SDK with C#.

Thanks,
Suresh

Although
our toolkit supports setting the CAP_DEVICEEVENT capability, the Twain DLL
versions shipped with the Windows operating system till now are still version 1.7, and this capability was added in 1.8.

This means, the Twain source manager on Windows still does not support it.

However,
you can use the CAP_DEVICEONLINE to know when the device is powered on and available.
