We have been using v15 with a patch from 2-20-2008 and are about to test with the 7-24-2008 patch.  The file Leadtools.Codecs.Abc.dll appears to be missing from the newer patch.  Has this been removed or merged with another DLL?  Should we include the old DLL with our runtime deployment?

The Leadtools.Codecs.Abc.dll file has not changed since the latest LEADTOOLS v15 patches. If you want me to send it to you, please send an email to support@leadtools.com and mention this post.

That would be a flaw in the 7-24-2008 patch then.  One should be able to install the original v15 and then the 7-24-2008 patch to have all files up to date.  But if this file was updated in the 2-20-2008 patch (and possibly others since but before 7-24), that wouldn't be the case.

Hello,

We have two types up updates/patches - one contains just the dlls that have changed since the latest setup. This is commonly refered to as the patch. We also have an update that contains all of the latest dlls available. This sounds more like what you're looking for than the patch.

If you would like the latest dlls, please send the following information in an email to support@leadtools.com:

1. The company you work for
2. The LEADTOOLS serial number(s) you own (if you are evaluating, just say so)
3. The name(s) of the developer(s) using the serial number
4. A link to this forum post
