I'm working with pdf files that vary from a couple of pages to thousands of pages in length. I'm trying to find a way to quickly load and/or page through the larger files. I can rapidly page through a file using BitmapListIndex if I load the whole file but the time to load a document of two thousand pages is unacceptable. I can load a page fairly quickly using the Load event and specifying one page (if it's at the front of the file) but it takes forever to load the next page and it gets worse the farther into the file you get. You can quickly page through the file with Acrobat Reader so I know it's possible. Any one have any idea how to speed up this process?

With very large TIFF files, you can use the IFD to jump directly to a page quickly. However, this feature does not work with PDF files. I'm going to add this to the wish list for Version 15.
