i have built a tool with an MSI which installs without problems all the OCR files are sent to either the c:\Program Files directory of my program or to the windows system folder. After its installed using the administrator account i test it all out and everything works including OCR. i then log in as another user and the tool i built works fine except for the OCR. Any thoughts as to why that might be.

Error is: Engine initialization error, or there is no appropriate license.

This is the same error you would get if the OCR engine wasn't installed, the engine path directory is incorrect, or basically any reason that the OCR engine files couldn't be loaded.

Most likely, the user doesn't have permissions for that folder.  Try using standard windows functions to read/write a test txt file in that directory.
