We use Leadtools v15 to perform measurements (distance) on images. The modality provides calibration information in the above two tags (or one of these).
As i understood from leadtools, tag 0028,0030 is used for calibration of the ruler.
However i have found a number of issues on that make it a bit confusing.
Attached i have a test image for pixel spacing. When i use this image in the Leadtools medical viewer, the calibration is not correct. (according the image).
My question exact: Which if these tags should be used?

There's a clarification document on the NEMA web site which discusses this. You can find it here:
ftp://medical.nema.org/medical/dicom/final/cp586_ft.pdf
In any case, there's no attached file, if you want to attach it again, please put it in a ZIP or a RAR file and do NOT use the preview feature.
